(en: Norfolk pine, star pine) originally from Norfolk island, planted as ornamental plant (probably the most widely cultivated Araucaria spec.) and sometimes confused with A. columnaris (Cook´s pine: has narrowly columnar crown in mature trees vs. narrowly conical and microsporophylls oblong-triangular, 5-7(1) mm long vs. rhombic and 3-4 mm long). |
